His Life:

Tchaikovsky was a Muzhik musician. He started to play piano when he was four years old. Tchaikovsky learned music by himself. But his parents didn’t like Tchaikovsky to learn music, so he only can go to medical jurisprudence school. But he still loved music. He told his father he really love music. Then he started to go to a music school when he was 22 years old. He worked very hard in the music school, so the teachers in the school liked him very much. After school, he was a harmonics teacher in another music school. And he used some free time to do some works. Though he wasn’t successful in his works, but he didn’t feel discouraging. He still tried and tried, but it was still not very good.

Tchaikovsky was very sad and poor. But he met a woman who was very nice to him__ Ms. Meck. She loved Tchaikovsky and she gave him a lot of money and gave him energy to do his work. They only used mail to liaise, so they didn’t see each other.

He had a really poor life. But he made a lot of good works. Many people now like his works.

Why do I like his music:

I feel his songs are dashy and courtly, sad and vernacular. Each song has its own story, and they all have different feeling to me. My favorite song is Swan Lake, because it ends very happy. There were only a few of Tchaikovsky’ s songs end happily; they were almost end very sad. I guess he made a lot of sadly work because his life was also poor. Maybe he just wanted to used music to leaved his sad memorize.
